The series "Creature of Climax" was produced during my MFA degree at the University of Alberta in 2013. In this series, for the first time, I used my innovative masking technique with the use of rice paste that allows for traditionally printed techniques to be overprinted by digital image. The series was also crucial from a conceptual point of view. It excluded a direct representation of a human figure replaced by a human-made form standing in as a human replacement.
